one day I was over his place chillin watching him create beats with this guy who I’ve never seen in lake worth(you know ppl here and ppl know you) and introduced himself as Ronny J and he wasn’t the guy he looked like now but he was cool af. He kept telling me how some jit is going to blow up in a couple years that his music and ski’s music was different and shit. a neighborhood friend of mine in lake worth palm beach was going to school in Miami for music and was really close friends with Ronny j(didn’t know at the time until later). went off on a tangent sorry about that :) i hope this message really goes to those reading it and they understand the same as i do. people never realize how much influence a creator really does have on a kid. i thank x for this even if he never was perfect. my priorities in life, my way of looking at life, and the people i choose to put myself around. but i will say this artist jah has really had a massive affect on the way i look at life and value it. then he died and now im older of age and realize i shouldve just checked out this awesome artist while he was alive, at the time id say i was probably too young and dumb and still am to really understand things of life. checked it out and thought it was fire but never checked the actual artist out. "damn that shit was FIRE" but never went to go check him. fast forward to 2016 and idontwannadothisanymore appears as a song i heard. but it wasnt really anything to get me to check out this artist. i didnt discover but heard an early x song called palm trees. Ive actually been a frequent user of spotify and youtube music and youtube music tends to give out sometimes underground artist. So based on every event on that trip including leaving was all before June 18th, the thing I saw on the news wasn't about his death and I don't remember what it was and to this day I don't remember how i found out about him being dead. Fast forward a year and a half later, I track back time and realize that The day I read the news, X was still alive based on the date i came there, (Before my brother's birthday) which was June 10th and we stayed there for a week. Then I eventually checked out more, (Revenge then 17 then ?) which led me to Juice WRLD in Mid July - Early August of that year. So when I go back home to Texas from North Carolina, I go on My Xbox and look his name up on YouTube and Check out “I Don’t Wanna Do This Anymore”, I turned it right off when it said “I’ll fuck you til you Cum” specifically cuz of the word cum because my little brother was in the room and he was like 9. I remember it saying he was dead, it had the December 2017 Mugshot (Where he looked like SpongeBob’s house) and I was in my old house at the time with the rest of my family (Mom, Dad, Little brother) to move all the shit out and get it set up to be sold I was 11 at the time. I remember seeing his name on the news on my mom’s phone when u slide right in your iPhone Home Screen.
